Backpacks, Baseball Dresses and Baseball Hats!

Happy middle of the week friends! We’ve had a bit of a tumultuous one over here in our household, but are halfway through and on our way to the weekend – hallelujah! Comfortable dresses, tennis shoes, backpacks and a baseball hat are a few of my go-to items for a casual fall outfit. I’m obsessed with this dress from Mindy Mae’s Market. It’s long enough to remain practical as a mom (I can bend down and pick up baby girl in it) and it’s also very comfortable. I love pieces with mixed patterns in clothes because it’s a really easy way to look put together and trendy without trying. Currently this specific…

Fall Uniform: Vest Season!

Fall is for a lot of things: apple orchards, pumpkin spice lattes, trips to the park and VESTS! The sweater and vest combo is one of my favorite styles when the weather hits cooler temps, but is still not cold enough for the full parka. Hello, midwest! H&M has been seriously killing it with their transition clothing items this year! I stocked up on sweaters, thermal t-shirts and this vest most recently. Dressing for fall is all about layering. Unless you live in a perfect weather environment (looking at you San Diego) then layers are more than likely going to be your best friend between the months of September-November. Footwear…

Sweater Dress: Two Ways

Hi peeps! Hope you all had a great week. Mine was consumed with a sick little baby girl (her first time!!) and I never want to do it again. Don’t get me wrong, I could stay up all night cuddling and holding my sweet one year old who doesn’t often let me do that anymore, but I felt so badly for her. It’s so hard seeing her in pain and not knowing what is wrong. She has had moments of her normal self shine through at times, but for the most part this week has been filled with tears, temperatures, panic and comfort. Welcome to parenthood. Both Mike and I…

Weekend Wear

Weekend clothes are THE BEST. The clothes I choose to buy and wear on the weekends, especially in the fall, are the coziest items in my closet! Hello sweatshirts, leggings, oversized t-shirts and sweaters. I tend to gravitate towards items I can layer and wear together often. It makes my limited “mom getting ready time” easy and I still feel like I look put together (sometimes). 🙂 I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite fall weekend items right now. I just purchased the Ampersand Avenue sweatshirt and it’s so adorable! All are under $100 and should be in your wardrobe too!! Weekend Wear Favorites:

Fall Wardrobe Transitioning & My Favorite Finds!

Hi y’all! Even though I am sad to say goodbye to summer, I am ALL IN on fall style trends this year! All the trends (that I’m crushing on) are comfortable, chic and incredibly flattering.Perfect for my fashion uniform as a working momma. This outfit is my idea of a “fall transition” outfit. It incorporates darker colors in the black and boots, but the shirt keeps it light and breezy. When it gets cool out, I can wear this again with a bomber jacket thrown over it. These jeans are in my top three favorite clothing items of all time and I have no shame to tell you that I have…

Casual Friday: Nike Sale!

Hi peeps! TGIF! I’m dedicating my casual friday post this week to my BFF Nike. I was obsessed with Nike growing up, took a break for some Abercrombie & Fitch and now the obsession with Nike has come back in the past year. I wear my Nike juvenate sneakers all the time (with dresses, workout clothes, jeans etc) and live in Nike leggings and sweatpants. It’s such an easy combination to throw on after work and on the weekends and fits in well with my life as a mama. I also feel like Nike’s product is high quality and lasts a long time. Right now, you can take an extra…

Pastel Neutrals

OUTFIT DETAILS: Vest // Jeans // Shoes // Shirt (similar and similar) Pastels & neutrals are two of my favorite words to describe my style. I cannot get enough of them and believe they are the cornerstones to summer style. They go well with the flowers and sunshine that comes with summer. My only issue is that I REALLY have to watch my coffee and food intake because I’m the worst at spilling. Like…not even exaggerating. I need a bib myself! The other thing I find with neutrals and pastels is that they are really easy to mix an match which helps make my wardrobe last that much longer. I’ve…
