PinkBlush Maternity

Have you ever fallen in love with a dress? After receiving this dress from PinkBlush, I was smitten. I couldn’t wait to try it on and once I did, I didn’t want to take it off. Not only did it fit perfectly over my bump but it had just the right amount of stretch to flatter my new 27 week maternity body. Dressing for pregnancy can be HARD. It’s difficult to know how your body will be one week from the next. Personally, my body changes immediately in the hips (yay) but it takes a little bit of time for the belly to pop. Then, seemingly overnight, baby makes his…

Spring Floral Dresses

Outfit Details: Dress; Booties; Jacket (similar and similar) It may only be February, but I am feeling all the vibes of Spring here in Minneapolis! Our weather has been crazy good the past few weeks and I can’t help but immediately pull out all my fun swingy dresses. If you haven’t noticed, I’m obsessed with all things floral. This dress is non-maternity but works for my growing bump as well! Swing dresses tend to work on many body types and that includes bump-growing or not for me. I’m excited to wear this through my last trimester and then into the summer as I recover. It conceals, but is also fitted…

Valentine’s Giveaway: Jord Wood Watches

Happy Valentine’s Day week! I’m not huge into going crazy for Valentine’s Day, however I’m never going to hate a holiday about love. To me, love is not limited to that for my significant other but also extends to my friends, family and kiddo. I honestly try to celebrate all year long, but having a specific day to remind me each year is okay in my book! Typically, Mike and I don’t exchange gifts but exchange experiences instead. Last year he made me a video highlighting the first 6 months of Madeline’s life (queue all the tears) and we always try out a new restaurant or brewery. This year we are…

Cozy Cardigan Sweater & Non-Maternity Essentials

I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve been LIVING in oversized, cozy cardigans this winter. When I’m pregnant I tend to spend most of my money on accessories and things I can utilize after I have the baby. These cardigans fall into that category! I don’t need to size up and they fill the need to remain stylish but also comfortable during pregnancy. Tunics are another non-maternity go to of mine during pregnancy. It’s the perfect style to dress up a bump and they live on post-bump too. I knotted this one up to give a little bit of a shape. The main risk when pairing an oversized cardigan…

It’s a boy!

We’ve had an exciting week because we found out that we are adding a baby boy to our family in June! Our 20 week doctor’s appointment was on Friday and after finding out baby is developing as expected (whew!), we had the doctor put the gender in a sealed envelope. We were on a mission to keep this one a surprise until the reveal (we mayyyy have cheated with MK and looked prior). 🙂 We put together the box to hold either blue or pink balloons and my amazingly great friend put it all together for us! Amongst family and friends that are family we opened the box and couldn’t believe…

Shirt // Leggings // Sneakers // Bralette I cannot believe that I’m already almost halfway through my second pregnancy – wow this one is going by quickly! For me, it’s all about comfort and that is especially true the further along I am. Not to mention this pregnancy I am chasing after a toddler, I want my clothes to be easy and comfy. Here are a few items that have proven to be some of my best buys: Bottoms Leggings are…

Recipe: Flatbread Pizza

Those of you who know me know of my love for pizza. I think I could eat it for every meal for the rest of my life and never get sick of it. Honestly! Over the years, I’ve learned a ton of tricks to be able to have pizza whenever I want. Because of this, I came up with the recipe below, which is SO simple and easy to make with items you probably already have. I keep my pantry and fridge stocked with these essentials always because it’s something everyone in my family enjoys and its relatively quick to make for a weeknight dinner. It’s also a lot more…
